What is Tree Cabling & Bracing
Tree cabling (also known as bracing) is a specialized process that adds strength, durability, and damage resistance to a tree. By adding hardware, fasteners, and steel cables, cabling can provide much-needed support to weak areas of a tree, such as underneath heavy limbs. A common cause for concern is what’s called a “V crotch”: where the trunk of the tree splits into two separate limbs to form a “V” shape.
